Gwilli Andrea Hoversholm- Hayden, 80, of Eau Claire, passed away peacefully, Monday evening, June 17, 2013, at Mayo Clinic Health System-Eau Claire, surrounded and supported in prayer by her family.Â
 Â
Andrea was known for always having a hot coffee pot ready, with a warm hug and good conversation for family and friends. She had an incredible and a very pure love for her Lord, and enjoyed a belief and love of Angels. She was always very quick witted and loving to those who had the pleasure to know and love her. She enjoyed knitting, camping, painting, playing the organ, gardening, exercising, traveling and her beloved yorkies, but without a doubt her favorite and most special times were spent with her family. She taught her children to always take the time to love those around them and to never get too caught up in life, as to forget to enjoy and be thankful for each day the Lord gave them. Andrea had an extended battle with Alzheimer’s, even during her struggles she would still try to share a laugh, a hug or her favorite three words, “I Love You.â€?Â
Andrea was born October 28, 1932 in Eau Claire, the daughter of Fred and Anna (Skar) Kastorff. She attended Boyd Elementary School and graduated from Eau Claire Memorial High School. She was a life long member, baptized and confirmed at First Lutheran Church in Eau Claire. It was at the church that she married Irvin Hoversholm on April 6, 1951, and to this union 4 children where born and together the family shared a loving and simple life in Eau Claire. Irvin passed away in 1983, Andrea was his best friend and the love of his life. She later married Arnold Hayden, who was extremely loving and kind to Andrea and her family. Before Arnie passed away after several years of marriage, she spent many treasured times with him traveling around the United States and many wonderful trips to the lake. Andrea was extremely blessed to have also known Jack DuLac, her final life partner and closest friend. She loved Jack dearly and was blessed by his love, care and compassion. He could always make her laugh and bring out the sparkle in her eye. Â
Andrea was also preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Arlene Phillips, Maynonne Nordby, Clara Jane Neibauer and son-in-law, Jim Jenkins. Â
