Katherine Lovelien Luedtke, 59, of Fairchild, formerly of Cadott, passed away at her home on Thursday, April 4, 2013.
Katherine Elizabeth, daughter of Arlo and Inez (Dean) Lovelien was born July 19, 1953, in Bismarck, North Dakota. As a small child she moved with her family to Wisconsin. In 1971, she graduated from Cadott High School. She married Albert Stark of Cadott, and following their divorce she married Daren Luedtke. Daren and Katherine moved to Missouri, eventually Katherine returned to Wisconsin, making her home in Fairchild. Katherine had been employed in Cadott, working in the diesel area of the Cenex Truck Stop, before entering the healthcare field. She had been employed as a home health caregiver by Moore Genuine Care of Augusta, and with Iris Home Care. After she was injured escaping the fire that destroyed her home in Fairchild, she was forced to retire. Katherine enjoyed the companionship of her dogs and loved reading, especially romance novels.
Katherine is survived by her mother, Inez Lovelien of Boyd, brother, Kenneth and Carrie Lovelien of Boyd; sister, Laurel Lovelien of Fairchild; husband, Daren Luedtke of Mansfield, MO; and nieces and nephews, Tyler, Melissa, Scott, Tony, Jessica, Curtis, Cody and Kevin Lovelien. She was preceded in death by her father, Arlo Lovelien.
Memorial services will be held Sat. April 13, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at the Osseo Community Church at W15549 Gilbert Road, just off highway 10 east of Osseo. The family is assisted by the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta.
