Don had worked locally in home construction and siding, and was currently working with his brother Richard installing drywall. He was united in marriage to Candi Lynn Koffler on July 6, 2012 in Eau Claire. Don worked in construction but really enjoyed mechanics, working to his elbows in grease. He loved the times spent camping, 3 wheeling and 4 wheeling and cherished his time with his family and loved being a dad.

He will be dearly missed by his wife Candi of rural Augusta; 2 sons, David LeMon of Rush City, MN, Donavon Lewallen of Chippewa Falls; 2 daughters, Marissa Lewallen of Stanley, Abigail Lewallen of Augusta, and he was waiting the November arrival of baby Elizabeth. He is further survived by his parents, Dennis “Doc” and Pat Lewallen of Boyd; 4 brothers, Brian (Wendy) Hazuga of San Diego, CA, Dennis “D.J.” Lewallen of Boyd, Ron (Sue) Lewallen and Richard (LeeAnn) Lewallen all of Stanley; 3 sisters, Brenda (Dan) Anderson and Lori (Chuck) Gustafson all of Stanley, Ginger (Carl) Tinsman of Eau Claire; mother-in-law, Merry Bell of Rush City, MN; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
