Terri L. Popple, 54, of Osseo, passed away early Monday morning, Dec. 15, 2014, at her home in the loving care of her family and Mayo Home Hospice.
Terri Lynn, daughter of John and Patricia (Alltop) Popple was born Aug. 29, 1960 in Chippewa Falls. Terri was baptized and confirmed at Trinity United Methodist Church and received her early education all in Chippewa Falls. She moved with her family to Osseo in 1974, where she attended Osseo-Fairchild High School. Terri had been employed as a rancher, in specialty photo card production, working for Lunda Construction and in the sign department for the Dept. of Transportation in Eau Claire. Terri was diagnosed with a fast spreading cancer in September. At this time in her life she was living with her father to help with his care and also enrolled at C.V.T.C. in Eau Claire, where she was half way towards earning her associate degree in office management. Through out her life Terri had a little bit of a “gypsy soul” in her. She enjoyed traveling with family and friends, especially to the sandy beaches of the oceans, but also enjoyed the beauty of Wyoming and the other western states.
Terri will be deeply missed by her 2 sons, Quentin Evenson and Luke Boortz both of Osseo; 3 granddaughters, Skylar, Gracie and Abigail Evenson; father, John Popple of Osseo; 4 siblings, Tammy (Gary) Grage, Tim (Susie) Popple, Cindy (Chad) Pecha, Kelly (Scott) Vold all of Osseo; long time special friends, Jim, Char, Bev, Pam, Deb and Pat; aunts, many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia.
Memorial services will be private. A visitation will be held Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta. Following the visitation Thursday evening, a celebration of Terri’s life will be held at the Foster Bar on highway 53 in Foster.
