Dianne L. Carlson, 65, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Saturday night, March 21, 2015 at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan.
Dianne was born on February 16, 1950 in Eau Claire, the daughter of the late Stanley and Shirley (Hazelton) Berg, Dianne graduated from Augusta High School in 1968 and later attended Lakeshore Technical College in Cleveland. She married Raymond G. Carlson on June 6, 1972 in Guttenberg, Iowa. Dianne was co-owner and administrative assistant for Senior Care Insurance Services in Sheboygan Falls. She enjoyed assisting and visiting with many of her insurance clients.
Dianne enjoyed reading, music, singing, ceramics, scrap booking, word puzzles, traveling, and home decorating. She had a special affection for children. Dianne contributed a significant and positive influence within her children, nieces and nephews. From humble beginnings, she was proud of her and her brother’s achievements in life. Dianne had a quick and sharp tongue with a soft heart.
Dianne is survived by her husband of 42 years, Raymond, of Sheboygan Falls; two daughters, Lissa Carlson of La Crosse and Christiana (Simon) Nichols of Poy Sippi; two grandsons, Christopher and Corbin; four brothers, Randy (Debbie) Berg of Janesville, Ricky (Sylvia) Berg of Augusta, Jeff (Mary Jo) Berg of Sheboygan and Steven (Cheryl) Berg of Augusta. Dianne is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews, including Patti Berg and Zachary Berg of Sheboygan Falls who helped Dianne in many ways and enjoyed a very close relationship over the years.
Dianne was preceded in death by her parents, and a nephew, Aaron Berg.
A memorial service to celebrate Dianne’s life will take place at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls at 1 pm on Saturday, April 11, 2015. A reception will follow.

A memorial fund is being established in her memory for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee.
