Donna Green
Donna L. Green, 82, of rural Augusta, passed away suddenly, Friday, Feb. 20, 2015, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.

Donna Lee Green was born March 17, 1932 in Chippewa Falls, daughter of William and Della (Johnson) Bartz. As a child her family moved to Ludington Township, Eau Claire County, where she was a baptized, confirmed and life long member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She attended White Country School and graduated from Augusta High School in 1950. Donna was united in marriage to Lorenzo “Rennie” Green on June 24, 1950, at Bethlehem Church. For the first 18 years of their marriage they lived in Elkhorn, Ludington Township, Milwaukee and Stanley. In 1968 the couple moved to their present home in the Town of Bridge Creek, rural Augusta. In addition to raising her 6 children, Donna had been employed in Augusta, as a C.N.A. at the nursing home, a secretary at the elementary school, and through the Eau Claire County Senior Aid Program she had worked at the senior center and later as a volunteer at the center. Donna loved being surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great grandchild, as well as the Bauch foster family. Through the years she enjoyed sewing and most recently passed the time reading, working crossword puzzles and keeping in touch with her family and friends thorough face book.

Donna will be dearly missed by her 3 sons, Steve (Debbie) Green of Eau Claire, Kevin Green of Augusta, Shawn (Carey) Green of Osseo; 3 daughters, Renee (Junior) Bauch, Shelly (Jerry) Williamson, Karlene (Dan) Fugett all of Augusta; 21 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; in-laws, Roger and Verle “Tootie” Green of Cadott, Rosemarie Klimeck and Norma Green both of Milwaukee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Rennie on Aug. 16, 2005, and siblings, Robert Tepp, Bernadette Luedtke and Margaret Luedtke.

Funeral services will be held Wed. Feb. 25, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Ludington, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, and one hour before services also at the church on Wednesday.
