Vivian E. Lambrecht, 96, of Augusta WI, died on Friday, November 27th, 2015 at the Augusta Area Nursing Home..
Vivian was born on July 22, 1919, the daughter of Emil and Edith (Pickett) Wiese in the town of Ludington, Eau Claire County.
Vivian was united in marriage to Edwin “Boots” Lambrecht on Aug. 21, 1941, in Augusta WI. They lived and raised their family in Augusta.
Vivian enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, knitting, crocheting, quilting, rug making both braded and on the loom. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and an active member of the Ladies Aid Society for many years.
She was an excellent cook and worked at a number of restaurants in the area and was the head cook at the Augusta area school for a number of years.
She is survived by sons, Victor of Madison, Everett of Eau Claire, Clarence (Jeanne) ofHewitt, 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Vivian was preceded in death by her husband Edwin “Boots”, son Gordon Wiese, daughter-in-law Jeanne (Everett) Lambrecht, her parents, one brother, Clarence Wiese of Ludington, and two sisters Vera Zempel of Eau Claire and Elma Boyea of Cadott..
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 1st, 2015, at Grace Lutheran Church, Augusta, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jonathan Wessel officiating. Burial will be in the West Lawn Cemetery in Augusta.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 30th, 2015, at Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta from 4:00 p.m. until 700 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
