Birdie LeCleir
Birdie B. LeCleir, 94, of rural Augusta, passed away Friday, May 22, 2015 at her home. 

Birdie was born March 18, 1921 to Charlie and Bertha Hendricks. Birdie married Andrew LeCleir on November 11, 1939 at her parent’s farm in rural Cadott. She farmed with her husband in the Cadott and Jim Falls area until moving to Chippewa Falls in 1973. For 25 years she worked as an aid at the Northern Colony. 

Birdie is survived by two sons and one daughter, Clifford (Sandra) of LaCrosse, WI, Richard (Susan) of Detroit Lakes, MN and Thora Anne (Raymond) Nettleton of Superior, WI; eight grandchildren, Andrew LeCleir, Amanda Bue, Keith LeCleir, Kimberly Hines, Jon Nettleton, Sarah Midthun, Jacob Nettleton and Rachel Birrell; 24 great grandchildren and one great great grandson. 
Birdie was preceded in death by Andrew, her husband of 64 years; her parents; brothers, Howard, Jake and Clifford Hendricks; sister, Thora Hendricks; and grandson, Daniel LeCleir. 

Mom was a woman of strong convictions who loved Jesus as her Savior with all her heart. She was always willing to share whatever she had. Her greatest wish was for others to accept Christ’s payment for their sins so they could live eternally in heaven.  

A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2015, with services at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 28, 2015. The visitation on Wednesday and the funeral service on Thursday will all be held at the Augusta Mennonite Church, E19280 County Road GG, Augusta, WI. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Augusta Mennonite Church.
