Elliott Schoonmaker
Elliott J. Schoonmaker, 15, of Augusta, passed away at his home on Saturday, June 6, 2015, due to a sudden illness.

Elliott Joseph, son of Theodore Schoonmaker and Daniella Morse, was born July 11, 1999 in Eau Claire. He moved with his family to Augusta in 2002. When Brian joined the Navy in 2009, the family moved with him to Chicago, Virginia and San Diego, California, before moving back to Augusta in 2012. Elliott had just finished his sophomore year at Augusta High School.
Elliott was such a wonderful son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend. He had such a great future ahead of him. We were truly blessed to have him in our lives. He will be dearly missed and never forgotten. “Elbot” was an energetic, vibrant, handsome, smart, and quick witted young man. He always had plenty of jokes and comments to go around. Elliott always knew how to cheer you up when you were down, wanting to be the life of the party. There was never a dull moment when he was around. Elliott always went out of his way to assist others who needed help, whether it be to bring groceries, mow yards, pull weeds, or shovel snow for others. He loved fishing, cruising on the moped, Four-wheeling, cutting wood, fixing motors, and of course his video games. We love him to the moon and back.

Elliott will be dearly missed by his loving parents, Daniella and Brian Abley of Augusta; father Theodore Schoonmaker ; brothers, Gage Morse and Landon Abley, and sister Phoenix Abley all of Augusta; step sisters, Trisha and Rebba Schoonmaker; grandparents, Larry and Lois Pagel of Osseo, Richard Morse of Natick, MA, Wayne and Betty Jo Abley of Fall Creek; great grandparents, Mary Morse, John and Mary Colcord all of Natick, MA; aunts and uncles, Melissa and Ezequiel Magallon, Rachel Morse all of Eau Claire, Colleen and Pat Mauel of Menasha, Jeff and Paula Abley of Port Edwards; cousins, Gabriel and Alexandria Magallon, Amelia Mauel, Bryce, Aurora and Amelia Abley, Daylin and Cassidy Sairs; the Ralph Purdun family of Fall Creek; and so many special friends that touched Elliott’s life, too many to mention but never forgotten.

Elliott was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Chester and Irene Fritz and John and Eleanora Abley.

A visitation in casual attire as Elliott would have wanted will be held Thursday, June 11, 2015 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta.
