Connie Eagen
Connie J. Eagen, 69, of Fairchild, passed away suddenly at her home Wednesday morning July 6, 2016.  

Constance June Eagen was born Jan. 8, 1947 on the LCO Reservation in Hayward, WI. She lived in Hayward before moving to LaCrosse and then to Eau Claire. She had attended school in LaCrosse and North High School in Eau Claire. Connie was united in marriage to James Eagen on April 15, 1973 in Cumberland. The couple lived all their married life in Wisconsin, beginning their life together in Cumberland and since the early 1980’s had made their home in Fairchild. Connie loved collecting Elvis and Native American memorabilia in addition to doing crafts. Her main focus in life was her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered by family as she “Weebles and Wobbles but she won’t fall down”. 

Connie will be dearly missed by James, her husband of 43 years; son Tony Eagen of Altoona; daughter Hazel and (Jody) Brown of Black River Falls; 6 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Melody (Ron) Bremer of Augusta, Roberta (Gregory) Corcoran of Holmen; 3 brothers, Louis Marshall of the state of Virginia, Mickey (Debbie) Marshall of Eau Claire, Daniel (Diane) Enerson of Madison; 3 half brothers and a half sister all of Illinois; mother-in-law, Betty Scherer of Tomah; and sister-in-law, Cecilia Marshall of Eau Claire.  

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Hazel Marshall; 2 sisters, Benita Gomez, Lynnette Jacobson; 2 brothers, William and George Marshall; daughter Jacqueline Eagen; and 2 grandson, Wyatt and Johnnie II.  

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta, with Pastor Don Conklin officiating. A visitation will be held on Friday from4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to services on Saturday at the funeral home
