Richard Feeney
Richard F. Feeney, 87, of Augusta, passed away at his home in hospice care on November 8, 2016. 

Richard Francis Feeney, son of Edward Feeney and Alice Galeotti wasborn in Kenosha, where he was raised by his mother and grandparents, Hugo and Anna Galeotti. Richard attended local schools in Kenosha and the University of Wisconsin. On March 17, 1951 he was united in marriage to Nancy Young and to this union their 3 sons, Jeffrey, Richard Jr. and Thomas were born and raised in Kenosha. Shortly after his marriage he was drafted into the United States Army and served during the Korean Warfrom 1951 until 1953, and was honorably discharged in November of 1956. While in the service he was a tank driver and was the recipient of the Korean Service Ribbon and 3 Oak Leaf Clusters for his involvement in 3 Korean battles. After Richard’s divorce in 1983 he moved to Eau Claire, where with Jacqueline Hubbard they owned andoperated Imperial Investigations. When he retired he and Jacquie moved to Augusta. Richard was a current member of the Masonic Temple 112 of Chippewa Falls. He was a member of the Chippewa Valley Shrine Club and had been a member of the Kenosha Shriner’s Club, where there he had served as president. He was also a member of the Eau Claire V.F.W. Post 305.  

Richard is survived by his daughter-n-law, Debbie Feeney and her twoboys, his grandsons, Zach and JJ; and his other grandchildren, Jennifer Feeney, Dustin Feeney, Robert Feeney, Joshua Feeney and Thomas Feeney Jr; sister Florence Panka and her two daughters, Leslie and Valerie; step children, Tony & Bev Malcein and their daughter Lindsey; Monica Malcein and her children, Trevor, Olivia, and Evan; Troy and Kristi Malcein and their son Devin; and Dale and Jen Hubbard and her daughters, Brittny and Lyssie. He will also be dearly missed by longtime friends, Robert Pisciotti, Barb Balliett, Cindy Bertrang, Ron and Louise Honadel; and finally his dog Bronzo. 

Richard was preceded in death by his sons, Jeffrey in 2008, Richard Jr. in 2006, and Thomas in 2009. Jacquie also preceded him in death on July 3, 2012.  

Memorial services for Richard will be held Monday, Nov. 21, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta, with visitation starting at 1:30 p.m. on Monday.
