Adam Luedtke
Adam L. Luedtke, 44, of La Crosse passed away peacefully on Sept. 2nd is his home with his wife and Pastor by his side, after a 5 month battle with colorectal cancer.

He was born in Augusta,WI on Jan. 11, 1972 to Roberta Smith and Jack Luedtke. On Oct.14th, 2006 he married Amanda Kimball.Adam graduated from Sheboygan Falls high school in 1990. He spent 1 year in audio school in Hutchinson, MN. Later he moved to La Crosse and graduated in 1998 with a degree in Graphic Design. He worked for over 20 years in the printing industry, mainly in prepress and design. Adam worked for the U.S. Postal service for the last 2 years as a rural route carrier. Adam was a beloved son, husband and father. Having a lifelong passion for music, he loved playing guitar, attending concerts and collecting music. Adam was very creative and he wrote and recorded his own music. He also enjoyed hunting with family on his aunt and uncle's farm, attending local festivals, and spending time caring for his two children. Over the last few years, Adam enjoyed serving in his church and community in numerous ways. He devoted much of his time to strengthening his faith and renewing his walk with the Lord. Adam was loved by many. He will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his wife Amanda, daughter Tessa,7 and son Nolan,5. Mother Roberta Smith and step father Ken Koplein, Father Jack Luedtke and step mother Sharmay Luedtke, grandmother Jean Smith, Step sister Wendy Zareczny(Chris), Angie Binversie (Je=), Nieces Jenna and Sydney and nephew Connor. Mother in Law Jennifer Kimball, Father in law Daniel Kimball (Nancy) brothers in law Hank, Jason, and Mathew Bair and many loving Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather Robert Smith, Grandfather Arlo Luedtke, Grandmother Cora Nelson, Step Father Todd Leynse, and Uncle John Luedtke.A special thank you to Mayo clinic Hospice nurses and sta= for their excellent service and care of Adam and our family over the last few weeks. Also,thank you to our family at First Free church for their loving support throughout Adam's illness. A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, September 9 at First Free Evangelical Lutheran Church, 123 Mason Street, Onalaska. Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until the time of the service.
