She eventually moved to Chippewa Falls and after traveling for a time she returned to rural Fairchild where she had lived for the past few years. Yevette enjoyed being a stay at home mom to her sons. She wasn’t crazy about the Wisconsin winters but thoroughly enjoyed the summers and being outside with her boys, spending time swimming, playing or working in her flower gardens. During theschool year she loved attending school and sporting events the boys participated in. You could often find Yevette in her kitchen creating a new dish or baking up not onlya delicious dessert, but one that was also pleasing to the eyes. In her youth she loved the solitude when curled up with a book from the Anne of Green Gable series or the Boxcar Children, but also enjoyed wrestling while in elementary school.
