Ronald Stanek
Ronald P. Stanek, 70, of Augusta, chose to join his beloved pets Svenn and Mrs on Thursday morning, November 15, 2018 at the Augusta Health and Rehabilitation Center. 

Ronald Phillip Stanek, son of George and Lorraine (Janisewski) Stanek was born March 28, 1948 in Eau Claire, WI. Ron was raised on a dairy farm in Bridge Creek Township, rural Augusta. He attended Kirkham Valley Country School and graduated from Augusta High School in 1966. Ron farmed with his family in Otter Creek Township until 1988. Later Ron began driving a log truck. In 2017 after his own health challenges Ron started his Eager Beaver Medical Transport Business. Ron had a passion for his family and friends. He was always up for social gatherings, going to dances and playing cards. He supported his children in 4-H, FFA and sports. He loved steam engines and enjoyed attending shows throughout the Midwest with friends.

Ronald is survived by his children, Kimberly (Steven) Rowe, Columbus, WI, Gregory (Jennifer) Stanek, Augusta, WI, Joy Moore, Sun Prairie, WI, Audra (Roy) Bissen, Elroy, WI, and Joni (Adam) Felber, Hugo, MN; as well as their mother, Jane (Pettis) Stanek. Grandchildren, Sarah (Mainor) Martinez and Michael Rowe;Matthew, Cordell and Nathan Stanek; Blaine, Braeden, Bennett and Braxton Moore; Elijah, Nora and Wyatt Felber.  Parents George and Lorraine Stanek.  Siblings, Georgia (Roy) Buchner, Wayne (Denise) Stanek, Suzanne Bertsch, Todd (Mary) Stanek, and Beverly (Bruce) Shong.

Ron was preceded in death by his Grandparents and infant sister Kathleen.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to a charity of your choice. 

Thank you Dr. Dharmesh Babaria of Marshfield Clinic for your compassion and care over the years.Ron wanted to Thank the Administration and Staff of the Oakwood Villa Nursing Home in Altoona, and Augusta Health and Rehabilitation Center.  

A visitation will be held Saturday, November 24, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta, with memorial services 
being held at noon on Saturday at the funeral home. 

 Burial will be in the West Lawn Cemetery in Augusta.
