Curtis Huth
Curtis W. Huth, 56, of rural Fall Creek, passed away Saturday morning November 23, 2019, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, with family by his side.

Curtis Wyman Huth was born on October 15, 1963, in Eau Claire, the son of Wyman and Elaine (Petersen) Huth. He was raised with his 3 siblings in the Town of Seymour where he attended Black Elementary School and Fall Creek High School. Curt was united in marriage to Vikki Jo Wolfgang on Sept. 3, 1983, in Fall Creek. The couple lived all their married life in the rural Fall Creek and Augusta area. Throughout his life he had worked for his brother-in-law at Mr. B’s Drive-In in Augusta, Ashley Furniture, Menards Distribution Center, for Nortech Industries in Augusta until their closing, and then for Source Cut in Osseo. Curt loved life and had a tremendous sense of humor along with an interest in a wide array of hobbies. He was the grandpa every child dreams of as he was a kid at heart himself. He introduced his grand-kids to his love of Superman and had a vast collection of Superman memorabilia. A day never went by that he didn’t wear something representing his hero. He enjoyed building model cars and attending local Renaissance Fairs. His interest in medieval times was also evident in the video games he played with his family. Curt was an avid fan of the Denver Broncos and NASCAR racing, of which Jeff Gordon was his favorite driver. He loved vegetables and the more unique the vegetable was to this area the harder he tried growing it. Curt will also be remembered as a fantastic cook who enjoyed sharing his recipes with family and friends.

Curt will be deeply missed by Vikki, his loving wife of 38 years; son Justin Brown of Blair; 2 daughters, Darcey Brown of Augusta, Kari Carpenter of Tupelo, Mississippi; mother Elaine Huth of Chippewa Falls; 6 grandchildren,Alex Tompkins of Augusta, Paulette (Tyler) Coleman of Jenoa City, Devlin and Trinity Shimek both of Augusta, Tori Brooks and Rachel Carpenter both of Tupelo, MS; 6 great grandsons, Weston, Landen, Marcus, Ryan, Ashur and Riley; 3 brothers, Matt (Chris) Huth of Fairchild, Jarred (Melinda) Huth of Lake Hallie, Jayme (Mandy) LeMere of River Falls; and 2 sisters, Nicole Saiko of Eau Claire, Petra Huth of Lake Hallie. Curt was preceded in death by his father Wyman; and grandson Jake Brown.

A time to celebrate Curt’s life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019, from noon until 4:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta. Superman attire is welcomed.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be given.
