David Linder
David W. Linder, 53, of Augusta, passed away Monday, June 17, 2019. 

David Wayne Linder was born in Eau Claire on May 24, 1966 to Wayne and Lois (Wolfgang) Linder. Dave lived all of his life in Augusta, where he was baptized and confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church. He attended Augusta Elementary School and graduated from Augusta High School in 1985. Dave had worked in Augusta at Bush Brothers Canning Company as a seasonal worker and also in the plant. He enjoyed working as a meat cutter with Frase’s Locker in Augusta, and then for Augusta Meats. He had taken a job in Eau Claire with Greener Grass and was presently working for Premium Lawn Service in Eau Claire. Dave loved the outdoors and was an avid hunting and fishing enthusiast. He had been a member of the Augusta Lions Club and was currently a member of the Augusta Area Sportsman’s Club. With the sportsmen he enjoyed shooting trap league. He also enjoyed riding his ATV and spending time with the dogs he had over the years. 

  Dave is survived by his mother, Lois of the Augusta Health and Rehabilitation; sister, Joy and her husband Eric Wackwitz of Eau Claire; nephew Michael Wackwitz and niece Samantha Wackwitz both of Eau Claire; uncles and aunt, Leonard Wolfgang of Cedar Grove and Arnold “Buck” and Nancy Wolfgang of Augusta.  

Dave was preceded in death by his father Wayne of January 9, 2017; and grandparents, Loganand Lydia (Osborne) Linder and Otto and Irene (Arndt) Wolfgang. 

A visitation will be held Thursday evening, June 20, 2019 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta.
