Christine A. Earle, 53, of Fairchild, passed away Friday evening Sept. 4, 2020, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, following a year long battle with cancer.
Christine Ann, daughter of Robert and Nancy (Kruschke) Earle was born Oct. 26, 1966, in Milwaukee. As a child she attended school in Milwaukee. In 1981 she moved to Fairchild and attended Osseo-Fairchild High School. In 1983 she was united in marriage to Dean Camden and moved with him to Barstow, California, while he was in the service. After they divorced she returned to Fairchild and later married Dave Nicholson. Christine had worked in the dietary department at the Fairchild Nursing Home and later in the kitchen of the Neillsville Hospital. For the past several years until ill health forced her retirement, she had worked for Maug Cleaning of Osseo. Christine had an extreme fondness for horses, especially riding her favorite horse Charlie. After growing up in the city she appreciated the country life with her horses. She enjoyed spending time in flower gardens and walking through the countryside when able. She always looked forward to the family reunions and taking care of and spending time with her grandchildren. Bretta, her four legged grandchild as she referred to, was also very special to her. After her cancer diagnosis she fought with all her strength and view life through the lyrics of the song by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, “I Won’t Back Down.”
Christine will be dearly missed by her 3 sons, Anthony Nicholson of Eau Claire, Johnny Sedillo of Osseo, Tyler Nicholson of Neillsville; 4 beloved grandchildren, Cody, Alexis, Jason and Nathaniel; mother, Nancy Earle of Fairchild; 3 sisters, Virginia Regelin of Fairchild, Vickie Lynn (Chuck) Seymour of Sturtevant, April (David) Conway of Milwaukee; and several nieces and nephews.
