Irwin Singleton
It is with mixed emotions that we share that our “Uncle” Irvie (Irwin Singleton) went home to be with Jesus on 05/25/2020.

Irwin joined our family over 31 years ago. He was with us as our children grew up, and as 11 of our grandchildren were born and have grown. He loved them, and was loved by all who knew him. He lived in the Jump River area until our move to Augusta in 2013. He was a man of few words, but made friends with everyone.Irwin was always a worker. He worked at Black River Industries in Medford for 25 years, and part time at Reach in
Eau Claire for the past 7 years. He enjoyed Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, and all types of Country and Christian Gospel music. He was a Cowboy at heart. The last few years his health deteriorated dramatically, but still liked
doing what he could. He never complained about anything. We were so blessed by the years we had together. He taught us much about the simplicity of life. He always saw the good and joy of the moment. We were so blessed to be able to take him to Texas, and through all the “Cowboy” states this last winter. He was able to get a "real" Deputy Badge, see the ocean, and get his Captains Hat!

He will be greatly missed by his family, Brother Harvey Singleton, Sister Elsie Singleton,Craig & Julie Lindgren Sr, Craig & Hannah Lindgren (Jude, Titus, Ari, and TBA), Ryan & Krista Keepers (Evangeline, Micah, Asher, Gideon), Tony & Kari Devivo (Anthony, Aryanna, Avielle), Kayla Sauer (Lynnix), Kyle Lindgren, as well as many family and friends.

Irwin was preceded in death by his father Herbert in March of 1972; his mother Edna in July of 2015; and brother Franklin in June of 1997.

Due to Covid-19@visitation will be at First Baptist Church of Augusta WI from 1:00-4:00PM. Family will have a personal service following the visitation.Burial with graveside services will be held in the Evergreen Cemetery II in Medford.
