Bonnie Lange
Bonnie Lange, age 84, of rural Augusta passed into the arms of her Heavenly Father, April 22nd, 2022.

She was born to Alfred and Evelyn (Maves) Beckwith June 12th, 1937, in a farmhouse in Dunn County, Wisconsin. She graduated from Menomonie High School and attended college in Orange County, California. Her biggest professional contribution was the time she spent at Sentry Insurance insuring homes, farms, businesses and lives while mentoring others in their careers. She was 1 of only 3 female sales managers in the entire country…a huge accomplishment and a testament to her great strength and ability to “run with the big dogs”.

She has 3 children from her first marriage. In 1974 she married the love of her life, Mike Lange, and his 3 children.

Some of her greatest enjoyments were bowling, fishing, playing cards, teaching her fitness class and traveling. She also loved accompanying Mike when he played dartball and horseshoes.

She was strong, an inspiration to many, fun loving, caring, had a knack for being an expert joke teller….all in all, quite the spit fire.

Preceded in death by her parents, brother, husband and grandson. She will be missed by children Sandy (Jack) Wagener, Jeff (Karen) Lange, Rebecca (Mike) Cailor, Ivan Stein, Laurie Lange, Adam (Becky) Stein and special cousin Bruce (Mary) Rosenau. Grandchildren Samuel (Toni) Wagener, AJ Stein, Arianna Stein, Annaliese Stein, Jesse (Jennifer) Runge, Zeb (Savannah) Runge, 3 great grandchildren and cats Bootsie and Bella.

Our deepest gratitude to the staff at Mayo Health System Hospice who worked with us through the last few weeks. Without their care and guidance, we would not have been able to honor Bonnie’s wish to spend her final days at home on her beautiful new porch with those she loved most.

A private memorial service will be held Friday May 13th. A celebration of life will be held for family and friends Sunday May 15th from Noon – 5PM at the Lange farm. E13134 County Rd. O Augusta, Wi. 54722
