Carol Davis
Carol Kay Munyon Davis, age 93, of Fairchild WI. passed away early afternoon on Friday September 13, 2024 at Mayo Hospital in Osseo WI.

Kay was born April 22, 1931, in Lake Fork, Illinois. The Daughter of Ruby Bell Munyon and Lee Lowman. She married Joseph Edward Davis and had four children: Joseph Wayne, Ward Michael, Brent Lee, and Karen Ann.
She is survived by 3 siblings: Joseph P. Ryan, Charles Lowman and Rita Vaughn. Her daughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren also remain.

Kay had a full beautiful life filled with family and friends that reciprocated the love, care and originality that she emanated. When she lost her husband Joe to cancer she never remarried. However, she had a lasting, beautiful relationship with James B. Peschel. The two of them lived and worked together flipping houses throughout Florida and Arkansas.

Kay was a homemaker who specialized in family negotiations, witty conversation and astute solutions. She had a deep love for literature and the natural balance of the world. Kay loved all aspects of nature from earth to sky including the smallest bug to the biggest tree. She researched current issues and spoke on solutions to her dying day. She was a Guide in the Everglades during her time in Florida. You could often catch her bird watching and cataloging what she saw and heard. Her meteorological sense gave an accurate reliable weather report. She knew no strangers, having the ability to see both sides of the fence and enjoy them equally as well as the gray area in between. Her connection to those she loved could be felt in the soul and the spirit. Pets, particularly cats, gave her joy.

During her long life, she endured losing close family members( including all her sons) and loved friends to wars, injuries and sickness. She was able to correct her life course without their guidance trusting in our Lord, Jesus Christ.

A private service will be held for family and friends at a later time. Donations in lieu of flowers to Dementia groups and the Veterans Administration.
