Frances Travis
Frances “Fran” Travis died Friday, September 13, 2024, a Dove Healthcare in Osseo surrounded by her family.
Frances Elaine Bluem was born March 7, 1932, the daughter of Alex and Josephine (Risler) Bluem. She graduated from Mondovi High School in 1950. Fran was united in marriage to Delmar Travis on July 10, 1954, and resided at the Travis Farm in the Town of Bridge Creek.
She is survived by her husband, Delmar and their children, Terry (Lori), Loren (Sue), Dayle (Dawn), Sharon (Terry), Daryl (Carrie), 17 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. She is further survived by her sister, Dorothy (Russ) Pederson.
Fran was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Marcellus, Kenneth, William and Clemont.
Visitation will be held at St. Raymond’s of Penafort Catholic Church, Brackett on Thursday, September 19th. starting at 10:00 a.m. with the Mass of Christian Burial following at 11:30 am. Burial will be in the West Lawn Cemetery in Augusta.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the Mayo Hospital-Osseo, doctors and staff, the Dove Healthcare-Osseo, staff and the Interim Hospice staff for the wonderful care they provided for Fran and her family.
