Elnora Bundy, “Pidgeâ€? 79, of Fairchild, passed away in her sleep on Saturday, April 7, 2012. Â
Elnora Elaine Bundy was born the daughter of David and Lucy (Heuer) Potts on Jan. 23, 1933 in Eau Claire, WI . She attended Hale’s Corner Country School and was baptized on June 7th, 1943 at the Evangelical Reformed Church in Fall Creek. As a young adult she moved to Franklin Park, Illinois, where she worked at Sawyer Biscuit Company. While in Illinois she met Edward Bundy, the two later married on Nov. 5, 1960 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Eau Claire. The couple lived in Illinois, until moving with their family to Lincoln Township, rural Augusta in the mid 1960’s. For over 20 years Pidge worked at Bush Brothers Canning Company in Augusta, retiring in the mid 1990’s. Over the years Pidge had enjoyed catering, riding and training horses, camping with her family, reading and playing on the Rodell and Wayside pool leagues.Â
Pidge especially loved hunting and fishing in Wisconsin, and was anxiously waiting for this year’s fishing opener. She often prepared many fish fries and other game for family and friends. In years back she helped with many fish and smelt feeds that were held at the Wayside Bar between Augusta and Fall Creek. Â
She is survived by her 5 children, Linda (Rick) Buttke of Augusta, Edward Bundy of Odessa, TX, Mike Bundy, (Darlene Conrad) of Whitehall, Ann (Greg) Aldrich of Augusta, David Bundy (Jo Waletzko) of Chippewa Falls; 8 grandchildren, Jesse (Katie) Buttke , Leatha ( Shane) Poirier, Justin Buttke, Phillip Grant (Savanna Staves) , Clinton (Chante) Grant, Olivia Bundy, Damien Bundy and Chandra Bundy; 8 great grandchildren, Isabell, Andrew, Anna, Austin, Autumn, Braden, Chanel and Michael; and sister-in-law, Edith Potts of Chippewa Falls. She was preceded in death by her parents and 7 siblings, Frank, Richard, John, David and Sydney Potts, Naomi Welter and Lois Rahl.Â
Funeral services will be held Wed. April 11, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta, with Pastor Ricky Bertels officiating. Burial will be in the West Lawn Cemetery in Augusta. Friends may call Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home. Â
