Lyle K. Dehnke, 42, of N1292 County Road XX, Fall Creek, passed away Saturday evening, May 5, 2012, at his home in the care of his mother and St. Joseph’s Hospice.
Lyle Kevin Dehnke was born August 23, 1969 in Eau Claire . He was raised in Lincoln Township, rural Fall Creek, where he was baptized on September 18, 1969 and confirmed on May 22, 1983, both at St. John’s Lutheran Church. He attended Fall Creek Elementary School and graduated from Fall Creek High School in 1988. After Lyle’s mother purchased the Watering Hole Tavern in Ludington Township, he worked for here as a bartender. Lyle enjoyed fishing on Lake Eau Claire, especially with his father and helping others and the less fortunate whenever possible.
He is survived by his mother, Norma Dehnke of rural Fall Creek; aunts and uncles, Lucille (Walter) Webinger of Menomonie, Evelyn Kinderman, Debra and Joann Dehnke, Douglas (Karla) Dehnke all of Eau Claire, Doris (Ernest) Dehnke, Virginia (Eugene) Jaenke, Janet (Johnny) Boyea, Duane (Dorothy) Dehnke, Vernon (Kathy) Dehnke all of Fall Creek; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence on July 6, 1993, grandparents, Minnie and Erwin Dehnke and uncles, Melvin and Erwin Dehnke.
Funeral services will be held Sat. May 12, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta, with Pastor Paul Bittner officiating. Burial will be in the Ludington Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday and one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.
