Tracie L. Harvey, 40 of 319 S. Madison Street, Augusta, passed away Friday, June 29, 2012, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire from a sudden illness.
Tracie Lynn, daughter of John and Cheri (Sippel) Harvey, was born March 15, 1972, in Chippewa Falls. She was raised in Augusta, where she attended grade and high school She lived most of her life in Augusta, but had spent time in Eau Claire, before moving to Tomah to help care for her sister. She had worked at Nortech System, Mail Source, Fort McCoy and Cardinal Glass before receiving C.N.A. training in Neillsville. For the past few years she had worked as a C.N.A. for Moore’s Genuine Care of Augusta. Tracie was the glue that kept her family connected. She was always concerned with their well being, and this concern for others carried on after her passing as she was an organ donor. Through her donation she was able to help several individuals. Tracie worked hard all her life, but in her spare time she enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, attending flea markets, playing with her pot belly pigs, visiting with family and friends, collecting Indian dolls and she loved black roses.
She will be deeply missed by 3 children, Betty J. Colburn of Augusta, Randy Dopson of Tomah, Jerry Dopson of Augusta; father, John Harvey (Lisa Mayer) of Tomah; step-father, Jerry Johnson of Augusta; brothers, Brandon Harvey (Christina) of Muldrow, OK; Jeremiah (Kathy) Knuth of Eau Claire; half sisters, Lacy Smith of Hayward, Bernita Zank of Seattle, WA; and her life partner, David Gran of Osseo; several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Cheri Johnson on Jan. 21, 2011, and sister, Tammy Harvey on Aug. 12, 2007.
Private family services will be held at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta, with a public graveside service at a later date in the East Lawn Cemetery in Augusta.
