Barbara LeBarron
Barbara A. LeBarron, 71, of Augusta, passed away Monday evening, November 5, 2012, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.

Barbara Ann LeBarron, daughter of Anson and Hazel (Davis) LeBarron, was born November 13, 1940 in Eau Claire. She was raised in rural Augusta until the age of 12, when she moved to the Northern Colony in Chippewa Falls. In her early 20’s she moved to a nursing home in Black River Falls and in the early 70’s moved back to her family home in Augusta. After Barbara’s mother passed away in 1985, she moved to her sister’s home in Augusta, and has lived with Judy ever since. For 30 years Barbara rode the bus to Eau Claire, where she was employed at the Development and Training Center on Third Street. Barbara enjoyed all the different jobs she had at the center and the friends she made while working there. At home she loved her cats and birds, watching television, and even though she couldn’t hear or speak she loved playing dice and visiting with her friends, especially Nancy Wolfgang and Lois Piel of Augusta.

She will be deeply missed by her 3 brothers, Jerome LeBarron of Altoona, William (Fay) LeBarron, Tom (Karen) LeBarron all of Augusta; 2 sisters, Judy Hawkins of Augusta, Josephine Garbarini of St. Paul, MN; sister-in-law, Janet LeBarron of Augusta; special nephew, Aaron Hawkins of Augusta; several nieces, nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anson and Hazel, brothers, Richard, Tim and Clifford LeBarron, sister, Audrey Curler, niece, Jennifer Dehnke and nephew, Robert Curler.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta, with burial at a later date in the East Lawn Cemetery in Augusta. A visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday and go until time of services at the funeral home.
